Healthy Chicken Gyros


Ingredients:

•Gyros:⠀

Wrap (I used @tumaroswraps)⠀

Chicken breast, strips⠀

Cherry tomatoes⠀

Lettuce⠀

Kale (optional)⠀

Avocado⠀

Red onion , sliced ⠀

Sauerkraut (optional) *probiotic⠀

•Tzatziki sauce:⠀

1 cucumber, grated without seeds

1 tbsp dill⠀

1 garlic clove, minced⠀

1 tbsp olive oil⠀

1 cup greek yogurt⠀

Pinch of salt⠀

1 Tbsp lemon juice⠀

Instructions:

  1. Cook your chicken breast and cut it in strips.⠀

  2. Prepare your sauce. Squeeze the juice out of the grated cucumber with a strainer or towel. Add the cucumber, Greek yogurt, mince garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dill and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.⠀

  3. Make your gyro. Warm the wrap, add sauce over the wrap, then add lettuce, kale, chicken, avocado, tomatoes , sauerkraut and onions. Fold the gyro in half.⠀

Voilà, Enjoy! ⠀

Pechuga de pollo, tiras⠀

Tomates cherry⠀

Lechuga⠀

Kale (opcional)⠀

Aguacate⠀

Cebolla morada, rajas⠀

Chucrut (opcional) *probiótico⠀

•Salsa Tzatziki :⠀

1 pepino, rallado sin semillas⠀

1 cda eneldo⠀

1 diente ajo, picado⠀

1 cda aceite de oliva⠀

1 taza yogurt griego⠀

Pizca de sal⠀

1 cda jugo lima o limón⠀


Instrucciones:

  1. Cocer el pollo y cortar en tiras.

  2. Preparar la salsa. Exprimir el jugo del pepino rallado con una toalla o colador. Agregar el pepino, yogurt, ajo, jugo de limón, eneldo y sal a un recipiente. Combinar y mezclar todo.

  3. Prepara el Gyro. Calienta el wrap, agregar la salsa encima del wrap, agrega lechuga, kale, pollo, aguacate, tomates, chukrut y cebollas. Doblar el Gyro a la mitad.

Voilà, a Disfrutar!
